"The formers of Yggdrasil are Pálmar and Stinni. Yggdrasil was decided in January 2007 but we only needed members. For quiet a time Pálmar og Stinni used a computer to drum and created songs that way, but that didn't work out for long time. So in September 2007 we started looking for a drummer but we couldn't find anyone, so Stinni decided to do it himself. In October 2007 we found rythm guitarist named Davíð Már to join us. Yggdrasil still needed a lead guitar so we talked to Arnar. So In October 2007 we finally had a our first line up. After few rehearsal we finally made a song but still needed a bass player. Yggdrasil's first gig was in Fjörheimar in Keflavík. We played with no bass player. Early december 2007 Stinni who was on drums decided to play guitar so Dabbi who was on guitar started on bass and Óli Baldur replaced Stinna on drums. On 24. Desember Arnar quit becouse of some musical differences and didn't like this type of music. But we will continue and probably find another guitarist. We are currently searching for a label and playing on some gigs, also we are rehearsing and making a couple of more songs. We are pretty young and we get better by the day."
