Hey, thanks to Semivivus for setting this board up for me.
I am putting the last touches to the new CD this weekend, however I still have to get the CD layout ready, and hopefully Morbid Winter will be able to get it out the door by late March/early April.
Just like the last CD, "Sailing...", there were a lot of delays for various personal reasons, but I guess albums get done when they are ready to be done! Hopefully it is worth the wait. It is definitely different than "Sailing...", maybe a bit more accessible and straightforward at times, but still with the traditional SIG:AR:TYR sound, with a few surprises along the way.
Anyway, I am here to answer any questions if anyone has any... concerning old releases, the new one, or anything really...
Till next time DS

Can't wait - maybe appearing soon now...
And surprises are good, who wants to always hear the same thing.

Beyond The North Winds The new CD "Beyond The North Winds" is off to be pressed, and should be ready around the time of the Summer Solstice. The new cover is up at the SIG:AR:TYR website, www.sigartyr.com, which has now also been updated with information on the new CD. You can also see this at the myspace site www.myspace.com/sigartyr. I've uploaded two songs from the album to the website and to the myspace page, "Under the Mountain" which was on the myspace profile in demo form for ages, hopefully the final version sounds a lot better. Also uploaded is another new track "Etched In Stone". Hope you enjoy them. Other new tracks may be posted from time to time up until when the CD is released. Till next time, DS

Actually I just figured out how to link to the cover image here: The photograph (and those in the CD booklet) were taken by me on a trip last summer in 2007 at Mt. Washington in New Hampshire, USA. The photographic treatment and CD layout were done by Paul McCarroll (as was the last CD) from www.unhinged.me.uk.
