What do you listen besides Metal?
Personally I adore Sopor Aeternus, Nina Hagen, Pink Floyd, Sigur Ros, Era, Ennio Morricone, Frank Boeijen, ... For darker moods I choose: Wongraven, (old)Mortiis, Arcana, Za Frumi, Nest, Eddan, Vle, Vinterriket,... I love to listen to Reiki music or any other music for meditation or relaxation.

Folkmusic such as Garmarna, Två Fisk Och En Fläsk, Gåte, Hedningarna, Galtagaldr, Frifot, Tre Ögon I Bäcken etc. And some acoustic/pop such as Lars Winnerbäck, Lisa Ekdahl, Cornelis Wreeswijk etc.
Oh, almost forgot. I'm a big sucker for quality 80's electronic/pop music - Alphaville, Depeche Mode and A-ha were truly great during those years.

I listen to lots of classic and 80's rock music. Queen is my favorite non-metal group. I also enjoy Journey, Bon Jovi, Europe, and many others. I also listen to Canadian-based folk groups like Stan Rogers, and comedy-folk groups like the Arrogant Worms.
I addition, I listen to bits of post-hardcore music such as Thursday, Fall of Troy and other groups like this. This is more of a guilty pleasure, though. I also can't forget to mention video game music! Megaman never lets me down. ;D

I won't name specific bands, because there are too many but I also enjoy rock, ambient, industrial, electronic, indie and neofolk & trad. folk music. I do listen to most other genres, but only a few select artists from those genres. For example, in hip-hop, I only listen to M.I.A., etc.

I listen to quite a lot, it really depends on my mood. I enjoy some regular rock music as well as folk, classical, ambient, meditative music.. But I love techno, trance and electro too =)
As long as it's music and I like it, it's all fine =)
