I recently bought an album called Ragnarok by a Russian folk metal band called Heorot. I was a bit unsure due to the terrible cover art but as soon as the first track started my fears were waylaid. From first to last this album is brilliant! I strongly recomend it to anyone else who likes a bit of folk metal.

A correction to my post....I was told they were Russian (and I believe the record company is Russian) but udging by their names and lyrics I am more enclined to believe they are Finnish. Does anyone know for certain where Heorot are actually from?

Your second assumption is correct, they are from Finland.
