Woe unto us all when the darkness of Loki prevails over the Light of Balder.”
In truth, theres not much to say about the creation of FJÖRD. It came up in a spark of inspiration one evening. Out of our love for that particular style of what we call: "Norse Folk-Metal" inspired by old classics of the early 90ies and some newer formations we simply wanted to create our own songs still while adding our personnal touch to them. ORGOTH contributed on guitars and bass and Wodansson on drums and vocals, and so within a short period of time FJÖRD came to life. In a spark of musical inspiration from WOTAN! We do not strive to absolute originality, but we never bragged about creating something never heard before. This is only the beginning of it. More songs are in preparation for full length album.
In a time when most look towards the future in eternal quest for new horizons...we look back to the past in Honor for what has been lost. Hail to the glorious past!
